Wide Angle Love, Pt. 2 - _TNY_8217
Here's another wide angle macro shot from the Haga Ocean butterfly house. Or, it's not a macro shot per se as the level of magnification is too low, but it was taken with a wide angle macro lens.
This happy couple are (is?) two Peleides blue morpho (Morpho peleides) having a moment on a leaf. I find it intriguing to shoot wide angle like this. If you zoom in on the butterflies, the detail is still there - but you still get so much more sense of what the place around them look like - very neat.
Still have to get used to the completely manual lens - finding settings and nailing focus is still a very slow process so I am lucky that these two were busy - and stationary.
