Some sort of crane fly (Tipuloidea sp.) resting on a leaf.
Crane flies look quite a lot like large mosquitoes and are sometimes referred to as mosquito hawks, implying they eat mosquitoes. This couldn't be more wrong as they aren't predatory at all and there are actually species which lack a mouth altogether.
