Here is a cute little (5-7 mm / .24") solitary bee known as the large-headed resin bee (Heriades truncorum).
These are megachilid bees and don't collect pollen on their hind legs. Instead they press their abdomen against the pollen-presenting flowers and the pollen ataches to the scopa on the underside of the abdomen
