Black Beauty - _TNY_1646

This beaut with the pretty rows of white spots along the black body is a black swallowtail (Papilio polyxenes). It's an American species and a real stunner if you ask me.

 

In this shot, you can see a little of the dorsal side of the wings which are mainly black and yellow.
