Mysterious Stranger - _TNY_9599
Here's an in my opinion, really cool-looking ichneumonoid wasp (and as evidenced by the ovipositor, a female). Looking at the wing pattern and the two recurrent veins, I would say this is a member oc Ichneumonidae and not Braconidae.
I haven't been able to figure out the species but the dark green eyes are cool and the way the wings remind me of stained glass windows in a church is also cool. Plus of course the green rhombic pattern on the abdomen.
This was taken at 2:1 magnification and body length (without ovipositor) is 7.1mm.
