At the Retirement Home, Pt. 4 - _TNY_9986
This very old and worn painted lady (Vanessa cardui) has migrated to Sweden from central Europe and has most likely helped set the next generation into this world who will then continue the migratory pattern which eventually reaches northern Africa.
This one has moved enough and was enjoying its time as a senior citizen on the thistles in Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park just to the south of Stockholm.
