The majority of damselfly species in Sweden are blue. Or the males are blue and the females oar greyish white.
And then there is this one: The large red damsel (Pyrrhosoma nymphula). I was actually out looking for demoiselles when this one flew by and decided to take a break right in front of me.
Unfortunately I had the MP-E65mm on the camera at that time and this is as far away as it can focus so I wasn't able to fit all of it in frame.
