Very Hairy Bee - _TNY_3300

A male European wool carder bee (Anthidium manicatum male) rumaging around on the flower of a house leek (Sempervivum tectorum).

If you look at the back of this one, you can sort of see a couple of the five spikes that the males of this species have on their abdomen which are used to chase away intruders in his territory (Basically everything that isn't a female of his species).
