70's Retro Butterfly - _TNY_1104

I discovered this rusty-tipped page (Siproeta epaphus), also known as the brown siproeta, on the ground at the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden.

 

A woman that was visiting there at the same time also saw it and said it was pretty - in a 70's retro kind of way and I have to say I agree.

 

Those earthy colours aren't very typical for a tropical butterfly.
