Zebra Mosaic - TNY_2354 (In Explore 30/9 2022)

Here's another butterfly from the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden, with more than one name. It is known as the dirce beauty (Colobura dirce), but also as the mosaic and zebra mosaic.

 

In the wild, these are found in Central America, the Caribbean and northern South America.
