Proper Hood Ornament - _TNY_0352
Here's a gorgeous little green-eyed moth which I believe to be one of two species - both with wonderfully convoluted names. Either a jointed-rush case-bearer (Coleophora tamesis) or a hedge case-bearer (Coleophora striatipennella).
Watching it sit (or stand, I suppose) like this makes me think it would make an excellent hood ornament on one of those smooth luxury cars of the 1930s like Bugatti or Rolls-Royce. I should get one of those and have a silver version of this one on the hood, right?
