English Female, Swedish Male? Pt. 2 - _TNY_1645

This happy couple having a good time on a leaf at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park are a pair of blood-red longhorn beetles (Anastrangalia sanguinolenta).

The name is easy to connect to the beautiful red hue on the female - but the Swedish name "tegelbock" must be more in reference to the male's hue as "tegel" translates to the material you make red bricks from.

Clearly this must mean that the males are Swedes and the females are English, right?
