Center Spot - _TNY_9194

Here is a tachinid fly known as Gymnosoma nudifrons. The family Tachinidae are flies which parasitise on other animals and this particular species focus on shield bugs and their larvae eat and grow on those.

 

This particular one found the center of a ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) at Kullarmark a little outside Härnösand, Sweden.
