You know those grey or green aliens with huge eyes that people used to claim having seen - or been abducted by - back in the 80s and 90s? Funny how all of that ended when everybody started carrying around a camera phone.
This sawfly reminds me of those aliens. It is something in the Rhogogaster genus, probably a R. scalaris, but it took off after just a single shot so I only have this one to go on for ID.
