You know how you sometimes discover an insect (or spider) in your car when driving?
Typically, it isn't ideal, but here it worked out real nice for me. I was in the back seat next to my son while my wife was ridning shotgun to my mother-in-law who was behind the wheel when I noticed something white on the shoulder my wife's black top.
Looking closer, I discovered that it was this bird-cherry ermine (Yponomeuta evonymella) and moved it over to my finger instead.
There, it posed nicely for me before I could open the window and let it out.
