Metallic Green Eyes - _TNY_9943

Here is a robber fly on a fern by the ruin of the old mill at Åva in Tyresta National Park. Exact ID isn't possible from just this photo, but It's in the Neoitamus genus and since one of the three species in that genus is pretty rare, this should be either a N. socius or a cyanurus - the latter known in English as the common awl robberfly.
