Date in the Labyrinth - TNY_20220717_143034
A short video showing the labyrinth spider (Agelena labyrinthica) couple which were nearing happy fun time in her web which was built in the invasive and troubling Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonica) I found on Havtornsudd point on the peninsula of Gålö.
If we ignore the invasive plats for a moment, this turned out to be a pretty cool little video as it really show him trying to pick the right moment to get close.
Shooting this was a bit tricky with all those leaves so part of it was shot without me actually seeing what I was shooting.
For a "real" photo of the female in her funnel - have a look here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52227154118/
