Fine White Hairs - _TNY_8870
Here's a new aquiantance for me - either a barbed mesh-weaver (Dictyna uncinata) or a common mesh-weaver (Dictyna arundinacea).
It was only around 3 mm in body length, but the abdomen was so domed that either abdomen or head was out of focus in each shot. Fortunately it stayed still enough for me to get shots of each in focus and then fed them into Zerene Stacker to compile them into a single image.
Another cool thing about this one are the rows of white hairs on the black head. Pretty nice, right?
Part one is a two-exposure focus stack from the top here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52196059676/
