The Pond - TNY_20220605_144804

Standing on the small dam at the southern end of the Nedre Dammen pond in Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park in early June.

 

Right behind me is where the Åva mill was built in the 1700s and it was actually in use up until 1910.

 

On top of all the cool bugs in and around this pond, there are also beavers here which take down a surprising amount of trees.
