Silver & Gold, Pt. 2 - _TNY_6164

One of my favourite hoverflies, the Leucozona glaucia, with its peculiar gold front half and blueish-white abdomen.

 

This one (a female) was enjoying a false spiraea (Sorbaria sorbifolia) which made for a prett nice backdrop, right?
