Since you aren't allowed to handle the Haga Ocean butterfly house (and most other butterfly houses, I imagine), here someone had attempted to help a malachite (Siproeta stelenes) off the path by using a green leaf and then just placing the leaf on top of a log where it wouldn't be stepped on.
It stayed here for a little while so I could set up for multiple shots before flying off again.
The green leaf underneath it doesn't detract from the photo at all in my opinion - the way the light through it makes that part of the log look green even looks cool.
