Incredible Eyes, Pt. 3 - _TNY_0720

One thing I really like in insects is the way some of their eyes look when they have spots like they have multiple pupils. If you're on a computer right now - try pressing "L" and then "Z" to zoom in and see the details.

 

This female common winter damsel (Sympecma fusca) from Åva Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park just south of Stockholm, Sweden, was sporting an, in my opinion, absolutely amazing pair of eyes in a nice two-tone colour.
