Small Bee, Big Head, Pt. 3 - _TNY_8471

This little guy sitting on one of the tiny flowers on a pink coral bells (Heuchera sp.), also known as alum root, is a male coppice mining-bee (Andrena helvola).

 

Don't really know why he was so passive, but he was and let me take a couple of closeups, both on the flower and on my finger before flying away.
