Wide Margin Dock Bug - _TNY_8528
I was scanning the winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis) for any cool visitors when I spotted this dock bug (Coreus marginatus).
It looks a lot like a shield bug and is quite closely related - but it belongs to a different family. They do have stink glands just like shield bugs though.
