Tiny Two-Tone Tortricid, Pt. 2 - _TNY_3728
Coming home from work in the middle of the night means I quite often find various moths sleeping on the window sill outside the windows on the house, especially under the light. The sill is made of metal and in a boring grey colour which makes for a not very interesting background - but on the other hand it isolates the subject pretty well, so there's that.
This was a rather small catch (sub 10 mm) and I believe it is a common rose bell (Notocelia rosaecolana) which would make it not very popular with my neighbors as the larvae feed on various roses (which they have and we don't).)
Part 1 is quite similar and can be found here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51508402365/
