Here's a hawthorn shield bug (Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale) climbing up some leaves by the Nedre Dammen pond in Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta national park.

 

It's a rather common species, but the lovely colours make them a welcome subject nevertheless.
