Emerald on Finger - _TNY_3236

Here is a female click beetle of the species Selatosomus aeneus (no vernacular name) on my finger.

 

I happened to hold it in front of a flower called the rose campion (Silene coronaria) which turned out to be a nice splash of colour in the shot.
