Plate Diffuser v 6.0 (Extending) - TNY_20210421_150102525
Here's another little behind-the-scenes video of my flash diffuser.
I'm using this one both with the Canon 100mm f/2.8L + Raynox DCR-250 as well as
with the Canon MP-E65mm.
You see here how the MP-E65mm extends quite a lot when increasing the magnification - which leads to the light being led down to close to hit the subject when the lens is extended (or too far away if I were to make the diffuser longer).
The solution I came up with was to add another pair of magnets further down on the upper side of the diffuser which enable me to extened the diffusion sheet like this when working at high-mag.
For a video showing how the diffuser is assembled from a flat package and mounted on the flash - have a look here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51729821709/
