Scam Artist, Pt. 2 - _TNY_0921

The hornet moth (Sesia apiformis) has a pretty convincing scam going.

 

While being a moth - and thus absolutely completely harmless - this one looks quite convincingly like a hornet and is thus left alone by predators.
