Isolated - _TNY_2095S2

While most laptops use a 16:9 display, there are a few, including the Apple MacBook Pro, which instead have a 16:10 one which offers a bit more vertical space for other stuff than just watching YouTube and Netflix.

My Huawei MateBook X Pro, along with Microsoft Surface Book go one step further and have a 3:2 display which I as a photographer really appreciate. I do this as this is the same aspect ratio as the one of photos out of my (and most other) DSLR.

This shot of a female walnut orb-weaver (Nuctenea umbratica) in her web obviously fills it up just as well as all the other shots, but I suppose it's the type of shot that suffers the least from letterboxing.

The completely black background comes from there being no background close enough to be able to reflect any light into the camera during the short time of the exposure. In reality, there should be a spruce, a small oak and some rocks in the background of this shot.

For some added depth of filed, this is a short stack of two images combined into one using Zerene Stacker.
