Keeled Weevil, Pt. 3 - _TNY_4690
Here's a third shot of a nice weevil which I found on the leaf of a wood anemone in the Gullringskärret nature reserve near my house. The distinct keels along the side reveals this species to be a Tropiphorus elevatus.
I think these broad-noased weevils look extra cute as that snout kind of remind me of a dog's nose.
This was taken at 3.7:1 magnification using the Canon MP-E65mm lens.
