Bee Mimic - _TNY_6394

The tapered drone fly (Eristalis pertinax) is a fairly convincing mimic of honeybees. With the eyes not touching each other, we can also see it must be a female.

 

There is a very similar species, the glass-winged drone fly (E. similis) - but that one has black feet while this one has yellow so it's a proper ID.
