Lace Edge - _TNY_6759

I spotted this mottled beauty (Alcis repandata) hiding on the trunk of a spruce while walking around the old limestone quarry at Stora Vika outside Nynäshamn, Sweden.

 

Not the greatest of shots, but I like this geometrid moth because of that wavy edge of the hind wings, looking a bit like lace.
