Gotta Catch 'Em All - _TNY_7440

My main interest in bug photography is to get to see how they look up close. But besides that, it is also satisfying to see how well I can capture them as I find most of them very pretty.

On top of that, there is a definite component of finding more species. Since taking pictures doesn't hurt them, I can snap away and try and find as many species as possible.

In Sweden, there are five different species of geometrid moths known as thorns in the genus Ennomos. This one, which is a male dusky thorn, Ennomos fuscantaria, means that I've encountered three of the five species on the side of my own house. E. fuscantaria, E alniaria (www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/36227087525/) and E. erosaria (www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51507477701/).

No idea if either of the last two will visit evventually, but one of the two have never been seen this far north, so I'm not holding my breath for that one.
