Frequent readers of my ramblings here might recollect how I keep comparing the more descriptive Swedish and German common names to the more poetic ones that English seem to prefer when naming invertebrates.
Well this one, found around Easter in a rather cold greenhouse in Härnösand, Sweden (far enough north for there to still be snow on the ground), has the English name of "common flat-body" (Agonopterix heracliana) - how's that for a boring name!
