I've managed to figure out that this stubby-nosed weevil is a species known as Strophosoma capitatum (no English name) - but, what's driving me really mad is that I can't figure out what kind of flower it is that the weevil is climbing on! I remember it being quite low and just barely sticking out of the grass,
