Wet Dreams, Pt. 3 - _TNY_0681

Walking around in the Hemmesta Sjöäng wetland on the Värmdö peninsula outside Stockholm one very early morning I stumbled on this meadow brown (Maniola jurtina) asleep on a not yet opened thistle which kind of remind me of those horn mines they used to sink ships with.

 

I think it looks pretty cool with all those dew drops covering it, right?
