Tiny Planet, Pt. 2 - _TNY_0393
A very worn antler moth (Cerapteryx graminis) busy pollinating a flower on the darker variety of great masterwort (Astrantia major).
A pretty nice combo if you ask me!
The "antlers" in the name have nothing to do with the antennae, but are actually light markings on the darker wings which looks a bit like antlers. This one has so pale wings that it isn't visible though.
Part 1 is the shot I took right before this and of the very same flower, but with a honeybee on it instead: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51222122947/
