Naming Toss-up - _TNY_1604
Due to the fine hairs covering this one, it is known as the downy emerald (Cordulia aenea), but the Swedish name, "guldtrollslända", translating into "gold dragonfly" feels just as fitting.
This particular one was zooming around in a small opening in the pine forests of the Rudan nature reserve in Haninge, Sweden when it suddenly decided to make a prief stop on a twig on a small pine. I shot this from quite far away using the 100 mm so I had to crop the 50 megapixel image quite a bit to get here.
