September, Pt. 2 - _TNY_8268
I took this really early in the morning (at 03.47) outside my house in early September of 2020 which is quite fitting. How come it is, you ask?
Well, this is a (male) September thorn (Ennomos erosaria) and I'm also posting this in September, right?
Also, seeing the rather large antennae on this one tells us it'a male - though the females are distinctly more seldom seen to begin with, so if you find one, chances are it is going to be a male anyways.
Do check out part 1 - I really like how this guy turned out in that one (more from the side: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51466706335/)
