Walk Like an Egyptian - _TNY_5327
Apparently there are around sixty species of ladybird in Sweden which is way more than I thought.
Here's one species I found for the first time in late August - a hieroglyphic ladybird (Coccinella hieroglyphica).
On top of the ubiquitous aphids, these guys supposedly eat a lot of leaf beetles which I assume is why I found this one in an area with seriously many Plagiosterna aenea as well as Agelastica alni leaf beetles chewing up the leafs.
