Shoulder Patch - _TNY_5415
My son was kind enough to join me for a trip to Tyresta National Park late in August and we had a pretty great day though he got a little bored at one point and sat down with his phone while I photograped some ruddy darters mating (like these two: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51417581761/).
This female ruddy darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) didn't want him left out though so she chose to land on his shoulder and stayed there for several minutes while Daniel watched YouTube and I finished up with my darters and could come over and take a couple of shots of her.
