Four-Spotted - _TNY_7325

The four-spotted chaser/skimmer (Libellula quadrimaculata) is one of the most common dragonflies in Sweden.

This particular one and a couple more were hanging out on a bog next to a lovely small forest lake which turned out to actually be named "lilla skogsjön", meaning small forest lake.

For two shots of one of its breathren consuming a crane fly, look here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/50192835827/
