The Furry Stiletto - _TNY_3969
This very furry fly with the Carrera sunglasses is a stiletto fly. They are related to robber flies (both belong to Asiloidea) and the name stems from the narrow, tapering abdomen.
I've managed to narrow this one down to one of two species, Either this is a Thereva handlirschi or a T. nobilitata and I found it chilling on (or rather looking for prey from) a leaf at about eye level in Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park.
