Two for the Price of One - _TNY_5511

So there I was on the island of Gällnö in the Stockholm archipelago, thinking I was taking a photo of a silver-washed fritillary (Argynnis paphia) refuleling on a flower - but looking at the photo afterwards I realise there was actually a second subject there!

The small dark beetle with cream-coloured spots enjoying the same flower appears to be a Coccinula quatuordecimpustulata, a species which to the best of my knowledge doesn't have an English vernacular name - but for sure makes up for it with the impressive scientific name!
