The Compound Eye - _TNY_4713

The black-spotted longhorn beetle (Rhagium mordax) finds recently died oaks, aspen, ash, birch and a couple of more species and lay their eggs in them and the larvae live under the bark.

This particular one appeared quite cool with me taking close-ups of it in the Gullringskärret nature reserve.
