Sideburn Mite - _TNY_2490

So I found this square-headed Wasp (Crossocerus sp.) wasp stuck inside the glass of the greenhouse and it was tired enough for me to get to snap a couple of shots with the MP-E65mm set to 2.4:1 magnification. before it flew off.

Upon inspection of the shots I got the pleasant (not for the wasp!) surprise of finding a parasitic mite hanging in the sideburn of the wasp's silver beard.

Really pleased with the level of detail on the mite here.
