Pants on Fire - _TNY_1151
A Swedish version of the English idiom "like his pants was on fire" is sort of "myror i byxorna" which would translate into "ants in pants".
This bronze carabid (Carabus nemoralis), like most ground beetles, are more about running (fast) than staying still, but this one had the added feature of a Formica rufa ant biting its butt (presumably not very pleasurable) so it was even less inclined to stay still.
To my surprise I managed a few shots of it on a visit to the Rudan nature reserve.
