Tobacco Coloured - _TNY_4564

This Alosterna tabacicolor flower longhorn, working its way down the side of the yellow part of an ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) has gotten its scientific name from being the colour of tobacco - also mirrored in the German vernacular name: Feldahorn-Bock, Tabakfarbiger Schmalbock.

 

Seeing it like this, I can't help wondering if getting pollen all over itself like that is distracting.
