Early Catch! - _TNY_0179
Being a bug photographer in Stockholm Sweden can be a bit frustrating when you have friends in more southern parts of the world.
Late March means there are lots and lots of stuff out to shoot in warmer places, but up here, spring is just in its infancy.
Since I have a new camera, I am especially aching to capture some bugs so a couple of days ago I headed off to the Paradiset Nature Reserve near my home hoping to find some early risers.
It was a quite weak showing - but this small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) and a couple more were out and about so I at least got to try shooting.
